My parents of Filipino ancestry came to Hawaii to work for Pioneer Mill Co, Sugar Plantation. I grew up here in Lahaina and attended Sacred Hearts School and graduated from Lahainaluna High School, the oldest school west of the Rockies. Dancing and cooking is my favorite past-time hobby. At fifteen, my first job was as a salesclerk for Ikeda’s – a clothing store. I was able to buy me a moped, sold it and bought me a VW Bug. After high-school, I was able to work in the reservations dept. of the Sheraton Maui Hotel and also got married. We have 4 boys who were very active in all kind of sports and now they have their own families. At the present time, I have 9 grandchildren. Some of my work experiences, included Territorial Savings, Whalers Condo, Maui Marriott Hotel, Kapalua Bay Hotel, Pioneer Mill Co. (till they closed), Kaanapali Estates Coffee, Brewer Chemical, Wailea Golf Management, Nai’a Properties and Kuleana Vacation Rentals. And now am a proud member to be part of the Harris Hawaii team.

I was born on Oahu, then moved to Maui with my family when I was a freshman at Lahainaluna High School in 1975. I worked for my family in our furniture store “Moore Interiors” from the time I was in high school to the time I was 32 years old. I then moved to Santa Cruz, California where I worked in the commercial real estate industry, then as a loan office for Monterey Bay Bank (where I over saw 2 branches, one in Capitola and the other in Felton) until it was taken over by Union Bank of California. I was then solicited by Wells Fargo Home Loan MORE Division and more specifically the sub-prime loan department, then I went to Bank of America until I moved back to Maui in 2008. Upon returning to Maui, I was hired as the resident manager at the Napili Sunset on the Beach where I worked for a year and a half until I started in the vacation rental business with Steve Gatchell Realty. Having now been with Harris Hawaii Property Management, Inc. as the General Manager of the luxury vacation rental properties division since September, 2010 where we have tripled the business in the first year! Service is everything in the hospitality business! I am proud of what I do for guests and showing the Aloha Spirit when on the phone or in person when they check in. I love what I do and am so privileged to have so many great owners to work with that have trust in me and the team I have working with me. It is an honor to have so many great guests come to visit us and even more so when they want to return.

Pam Gault

I was born to Canadian parents in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan and raised by my single mother. I started working at age 12 in a “fast-paced” Greek Coney Island until the age of 18. I attended Henry Ford Community College for 1.5 years taking business law and business administration while pursuing a bartending career which lasted for 10 years.
I moved to Maui in early 1982 and continued to work in the food & beverage industry for several years. I was hired as a manager at the Market Café in Kapalua where I met my future husband who was employed by Kapalua Land Company.
In October of 1986 I wanted to change course and get into hospitality and guest services. Nicki Buss who owned the Kuleana Vacation Rental business at the Kuleana Resort hired me. I worked for Nicki for 23 years as the front desk manager. Nicki sold the business to Ken Harris of Harris Hawaii at the end of 2009 due to health issues and I was fortunate enough to be re-hired by Ken and his office manager Gloria.

Aloha Kakou. I was born and rasied in Wai’anae on the Island of O’ahu. I moved to Maui in 2002 with my Makuakane(dad), Makuahine(mom) and my Kaikaina(brother) after I graduated from High School. My dad got transferred to work at The Westin Hotel here in Maui, so we decided to move here. I have 4 brothers and 1 sister. I’m the second to the youngest of all. My first job was working at McDoanld’s back in O’ahu when I was 12, I worked there all through High School until I moved to Maui. When I moved to Maui I did continue to work at McDonald’s at the Kahana Gateway Center. A few years later I decided I wanted to change careers. I have experience in the Retail field, Accounting field and the Hotel Industry. I worked at Papakea Resort for a few years as a Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor. I do have a full-time job working at Crazy Shirts as a Sales Clerk and now I’m fortunate to be working at the Kuleana Resort and a proud member of The Harris Hawai’I team. I met a wonderful local guy, Lahaina born and raised, and 10 years later we have 3 U’iloa(beautiful) keiki’s(kids), my oldest is my princess and my 2 youngest is my prince charmings. They attend Kula Ka’iapuni, Hawaiian Immersion School and they are very active in sports. When I’m not at work, we usually have our Ohana(family) time at the beach, BBQ, or just being at home hanging out. I’m truly blessed to be living here in Hawai’I nei with my Ohana(family) and honored to be working here at the Kuleana Resort with the BEST co-workers ever (Pam & Gloria) and I look forward to the future!
